The High Commission

The High Commission of the Republic of Maldives to Malaysia was established on 26th May 2006. As the Maldives diplomatic mission accredited to Malaysia, the primary focus of the activities of The High Commission is geared towards achieving the following objectives:

• To maintain and promote good relations between the
  Maldives and Malaysia
• To enhance trade and commerce between the two countries
• To serve and protect the interests of Maldivian citizens in Malaysia
• To promote educational, scientific and cultural exchanges between the two countries
• To increase the profile of the Maldives in Malaysia
