Statement by the Government of Maldives strongly condemning the drone attacks attempted to target oil facilities in the eastern province and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Government of the Republic of Maldives strongly condemns the drone attacks attempted to target oil facilities in the eastern province and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Maldives considers these attacks a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia  and a serious threat to regional peace,  security and stability.

The Maldives reiterates its solidarity with the Government and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia and expresses its support for all measures undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
