Collection Requirements
When collecting your new passport, you must present your current or previous passport. Your existing passport must be cancelled before your new passport can be released.
If your current or previous passport has been lost or is otherwise unavailable, you must inform the High Commission in advance and provide the relevant supporting documentation.
Authorising Another Person to Collect Your Passport
If you are unable to collect your passport in person, you may authorise another individual to collect it on your behalf.
The High Commission must receive:
The authorised person's full name.
A copy of their valid ID card or passport.
A signed authorisation letter from you requesting that the named individual be permitted to collect your passport on your behalf.
Please note: The authorised person must present your current or previous passport at the time of collection so that it can be cancelled before your new passport is released. If this is not possible, your current or previous passport must be sent to the High Commission in advance by post. The new passport can only be released upon receipt of the current or previous passport for cancellation.
Collection Hours
Passports may be collected from the High Commission Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (BST).
Applicants are requested to notify the High Commission in advance before visiting to collect their passport.
