Student Visa

Maldivian nationals who wish to study in the United Kingdom must apply for a Student visa if they require immigration permission to undertake their course.

Student visa applications are administered by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Before you apply

Before applying for a Student visa, you must have:

  • An unconditional offer of a place on a course with a licensed Student sponsor.
  • A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) issued by your education provider.

Your education provider will issue a CAS once you have been offered a place on an eligible course. The CAS is a unique reference number confirming your offer and is required when submitting your Student visa application.
